MUSIC MINISTRY
Freedom Worship
Lead the congregation in praise to God through music and singing. We accomplish this by leading with thankfulness, humility, and a servant’s heart. Everything is done for the Glory of God and the renown of Jesus Christ.
“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts” -Colossians 3:16
Our Music Ministry strives to:
Be an example
Worship with a passion that is contagious and cannot be faked. We sing to God because He is worthy. This starts with our own relationship with God first.
Be above reproach
Live with Christian character.
Be a servant leader
Our job is to lead the congregation to grow closer to Christ, not just sing or play music.
New Members for our Music Ministry must:
- Attend Freedom’s Connect Class and become a member of our church.
- Display the God-given musical talents necessary.
- Be a visible member of our congregation for several months and attend weekly practices.
- Be above reproach, as they are visible leaders in our congregation.
